2008 Round up (ish)

A girl at work bought me this t-shirt for xmas/birthday and I have to say it is spot on!

Well thanks to Maz I have been inspired to make a blog post…well that and the fact there is not much going on at work at the moment!

Well lets see where do I start……well I met a girl! I know it's amazing don’t ya think?! Lol

Well she worked with a very good friend on mine, and we started chatting on facebook and just the usual flirting she was asking my mate about me and yada yada yada. My mate knows certain thing about the game that I have mentioned to him, so it went from there.

I wasn’t too bothered with it all as it was facebook, and I was like bleh. She actually gave me her number because we were talking about skydiving and how I wanted to do it and it turned out so did she, as she is afraid of heights. That was when I started taking more note of what out convos. She was willing to go to such an extreme to overcome her fear, and to me that is an attractive quality. I told her this too.

The only routine I used the whole time talking to her was the question game, as I like the game and you can get into deep comfort with it and you learn some really interesting things about each other, the rest of the time we just talked and bantered about, but I am much more conscious of being straight up and to the point too and trying not to spend too much time bantering around, as that can be detrimental.

She likes the fact I am honest and upfront about everything, she knows she can be how she wants and I will never judge her for anything, she was very weary at first but the more time we spend to together the more open she becomes and the happier she becomes. I have set the president from the start I told her if she was to ever blatantly lie to me then we would be through and she said she expected the same, which is fair.

My approach game has gone to shit really, I have never been really after quick lays or ONS or anything of the sort, I just wanted to be able to meet some nice girls and have the skills to take the opportunities as they came………and that is exactly what I have done. I have become a much more attractive person in general………2 years in the making really. I have been at logger heads with myself, as I don’t want to lose these skills I have learnt, but I don’t feel compelled it be out all the time approaching women out of a sheer need to.

We spent a couple of nights in London, and we had a great time together, since she is scared of heights I took her up the London Eye, we went to Madam Tusaudes. She had been to Lush earlier on and bought this Citrus Bomb that you put in a warm bath and it relaxes you and smells all fruity…………and I kid you not she ran me a bath and put that in there and I have never been sooooo relaxed in my life, it was the bizz, she jumped in to for a bit too and then left me alone n made me a cup of tea….ah the good life….and don’t worry I thanked her for it ;-)

The way I see it what I have been doing for the last couple of years, has made me the person she finds soo attractive, she cant believe that a couple of years ago I was someone different. She likes how I am assertive and how I be persistent if I want something, but I know when to leave something be too.

My birthday is coming up..........so guys I expect nice presents! lol Work has been keeping me stupidly busy, I am on call most of xmas and new year...easy money and my goal is to get myself ready for my trip to China which I have just finally paid off yesterday!!! I still have to pay for my flights and apply for my visa but the bulk of it is done now! I showed Sunnee where I would be staying, with real life masters and everything....man talk about living the dream. I am am nervous but giddy at the same time.

I just got my Krav Maga t-shirt, I love it I am doing some MMA as well, just the basics, my fitness is improving and I now weigh 12stone...I used to way 10.5stone..so I am getting bigger! My cardio is still really crap even though I am pushing it more then I ever have, the guys at the gym say that I have naturally smaller lungs, as event hough I don't drink or smoke I have a lung age of a 55year old! (according to the machine), this doesn't mean I will always be crap at cardio...just means I have to work at it harder......

For the first time in ages, I am having trouble fitting stuff in, i work shifts, Krav Maga Mondays, Salsa Tuesdays, St John Wednesdays, MMA Thursdays, GF Fridays,

Saturdays I try and go out and Sunday is my Mandarin lesson, that is the busiest my life has ever been and I try to fit the gym in where I can, if I am on shift then I cant do certain things...but that is life.

I have come to realise relationship game is very different to appprach game, by a long way and I am better at the relationship side, because that is what I have always wanted a relationship...god that sounds chode, but that is what I have wanted. Without the the confidence gained from the approach game you can't really have the confidence in the relationship side, if it wasn't for all those approaches I have done over the years and all, I wouldn't be here now!

I have realised the way all us guys from the Leeds crew do things is way beyond how far most people would ever go to do something, because we are always on this mission we never really sit back and appreciate what we have done and where we have come from, for myself I am afraid of just being caught in that cycle

So I am looking back now and I said 2008 would be a good year for me, I got a new job with a new car and a iPhone and I have a gf who is spot on, god bless older women lol.

2009 shall be just as interesting!

MERCENARIES 2 WORLD IN FLAMES!!!!!

St John Ambulance

I have also started training with St John Ambulance as a volunteer, I have done my first weekend of training, which was all theory and this weekend comes all the practical first aid stuff! I am finding it very interesting; there are a lot of group exercises to do. Out of about 15 of us, only 3 of us were guys! There was a 19 year, who reminded me sooo much of me at 19, quite shy and introverted, its like comparing chalk and cheese now.

To start with there was only one woman and 2 of us guys doing any talking at all, everyone else was pretty quite, all the Asian girls stuck together in their own little groups……..as they do. We had to do an introduction about the person sitting next to us, we had to find out their details and then find out 1 interesting thing, and well my interesting thing was that I LOVE TO TRAVEL. One girl struck me (not literally) she was 25 and loved to travel and had been to Singapore!....My kind of girl! I barely got to chat to her properly, because her younger sister was being an interfering cow lol and giving me grief, of course I brushed it off and just went along with it like it didn’t bother me….which to be fair it really didn't, except for the fact I couldn’t chat to her damn older (cute) sister! But what little I did talk to her she seemed cool. Also lets me fair, Asian girls scare me still.

I could hear the group of Asian girls talking about me at times, I had a talk with my oldest sister about this, I said I think I get issues with Asian chicks is partly because I don’t conform to the typical Asian guy stereotype, that’s why they throw tests out at me all over the shop, my sister agreed, but I partly think its just that I think I will get grief…hence that is why I do.

The training was on Saturday and Sunday, Sunday we did a bit of basic first aid. The trainer is a confident guy, you can tell by the way he carries himself and by the way he talks. He mentioned that he had to access a group who wanted to become paramedics, and one of the main criteria's was how they entered the room, their first impression. Being a paramedic, you have to be confident, you have to inspire confidence in people, if you are not confident in what you are doing, what about the people around you? A very good point, he failed some people who walked through the door but were looking at the ground (something I used to do all the way through upper school).

He needed a volunteer, to move him around on the floor into various recovery/first aid positions; he said it was a good chance to feel him up. No one volunteered…..SO I DID lol. It was fun, plenty of laughs to be had, he kept asking me to keep a firm grip on his chest.

Me: man you soo work out down the gym!

Him: Cheers man, not that much

Him: *leans forward into different position*

Me: Man your chest got bigger..you jammy git!

And so on and so on, it was just good fun, neither of us are gay, which is what made it even more funny. He was like cheers love, I'm like no worries darling haha I was monged out for parts of Sunday, I was just really tired, but we had fun with the CB radios and we were asked to use them to report incidents, the group of Asian girls tried to make us go outside in the rain, so what did I do?

Me: BD14 there has been a incident in the male toilets, could you all please make your way in there, and give us a report…over.

This probably pissed them off a bit, so to be fair fuck em! I am sure they picked our group because I was in it, but everyone found in hilarious and they didn't go into the toilets. If you are going to play……..then play all out mofos! Then on the way back I was shouting down the radio….BLACK HAWK DOWN………..BLACK HAWK DOWN, oh how I amuse myself sometimes.

Right then a blog post after a very long time!

Well Ramadan has started..so I am on my best behaviour for this month, I am using it as the perfect excuse to save some money. I still have money to pay off on my credit card from when I went to Canada in 2004/2005, then there is my overdraft.

Right where to start? Well I got a promotion at work, it came in a sideways move, they got awarded a new contract with HBOS and in turn a new role came up, basically I get a bit more money and a company car, you press these buttons on the side of the door and the windows go up and down. None of that winding up and down stuff…BLACK MAGIC I TELL YOU!

I am getting good experience from this job, which is what I really want, direct hands on stuff. I know for a fact I am not getting paid what I am truly worth, as the other full time engineers get at least 10k more then me, but they work permanent shifts. I have told my boss I want then next full shift engineers job that comes up.

I have booked my trip to china to learn Kung Fu! Man that is like a dream, after watching all those Bruce Lee, Jet Li movies over the years. I am actually going to get the chance to do it for real. A whole month living with kung fu monks and training with them, I have decided to do Sanda (Chinese Kick boxing), as I want to do full contact. In a fight there is only you being hit and you hitting your opponent. I have to apply for my visa and everything in January and I go out in March for 1 whole month, work have agreed to give me the time off, I may try and stay longer if I can afford it, but I can only decide that closer to the time.

I have also started training in Krav Maga along with Sunnee, basically its an Israeli martial art, very hands on and direct n too the point. It is all about ending the fight as quickly as possible, while doing the most amount of damage and getting away safely. Its hardcore training, never really done anything like it, my body aches for a couple of days afterwards!

Friday and Saturday

Right Friday night I was watching the Blueprint and got a call from Murphy, and after chatting for a while he convinced me to go out.

I have been explaining to people, that lately I am just in the frame of mind…that I just cant be arsed going out, it feels like it is becoming a chore of some sorts. But I still go out even if it is only once a week, because it is something I MUST DO.

Well met up with Murphy and Amir, man Murphy just rocks up to anyone, no state problems or anything. Any set anytime, its great to see. We played the state games, just making random noises with each other and having a laugh.

I started chatting to these 2 girls, one had nice booooobieeeees, and I felt them up while wearing my gloves…gotta love them leather gloves haha.

Chatted to a few more girls and then I headed off, as we had a looong ass day planned tomorrow.

Damm Maz/Jonny/Voo and their continuous talk of titties…I am starting to look at booobies in a different light now lol.

Roll around Saturday, I meet up with Jonny/Maz/Murphy and we head off to Newcastle. We arrive get a lost a bit, drive around in circles and then we head off to Byker (where the TV show Byker Grove was based on). What a run down place, but we had jokes, we tried to do the Byker Grove jump but we couldn’t pull it off as well as the people who used to be in the TV show.

We then tried to park up in the free cark park spot, but damn it was just too much hassle, so we paid £10 and just parked in another spot. We got out stuff and plonked it in the room, and headed off to Nandos….nothing like some NICEEEEE CHICKEN!

When we got back, we met up with another guy who was sharing our room, he was Indian and was working as a doctor in Newcastle, and he had the whole fresh off the boat thing about him. But the guy was cool, and we asked him to join us for the night. WE CALLED HIM SUPERSTAR, he had one drink and totally went off on one, chatting to everyone and ploughing through till the end. We made his night and he made ours, guy is a LEGEND!

Everyone is very friendly in Newcastle, even the bouncers which is good to see. We hit up Revolution first and it was heaving, we chatted to all sorts of random people.

I got chatting to this nice MILF down by the bar, we were both ordering drinks, and my conversation went straight to dirty talk lol

Me: So have you ever had sex in a public place?
Her: Yeah in the woods…it was really good
Me: Didn’t you get any splinters or anything?
Her: nah not at all
Me: What ever happens never do it on the beach……sand just gets everywhere lol
Her: *laughs*

The conversation went on like that for a while, I knew it wasn’t going anywhere but I just didn’t care it just cracked me up. Then we both got served, I tried to get her to buy me a drink….no go lol, and we hugged and parted company.

I then started backing my ass up next to these girls at the cash point in the corner and that was some fun, I got chatting to another woman and we chatted about Facebook and she was telling me she didn’t have a Facebook account because she didn’t have a computer. This was down to her child, and her current boyfriend didn’t want to support a kid that wasn't his. Now to me if the guy gets into a relationship with her, the child is his responsibility too……Am I just being old fashioned? She and her mate were heading off to the meat market (as the locals call it) , but we were going to Perdu.

Now Perdu is a really good place, it is massive, rammed full of fun and friendly people, and everyone is having a great time….and did I mention it is MILF central?! Lol

We chatted away to various people, and I got chatting to this nice woman, out near the smoking area. She works as a freelance events organiser, and is very well travelled. Man I love women who travel…seriously. We chatted for 30/45minuates about all the places we had been and just had a good time. Grabbed her Facebook, and she told me next time I was down in London we would have to meet up and she can show me all the spots………nice.

All the while, Maz and Jonny were getting pretty freaky with this group of girls up near the front, something about her pulling her undies down and flashing them her privates and one of them jumped on top of Jonny, and then their boyfriends turned up…hahha, all in good fun!

We then chilled out, me and Murphy went into the chill area, and I started chatting to this 2 women, and we chatted away for a little while, one of them was hiding from this guy they had just met.

Her: We are hiding from this guy
Me: What has he done?
Her: He is kind of like stalking me, we only just met him
Me: Come on give a guy a break woman!
Her: He even timed how long I went to the toilet for lol
Me: Wow hahaha

They went off and Murphy was chatting to this polish group, we started chatting away, I didn’t really fancy any of them, but was a cool chat, Murphy tried to get the girl he was talking to…to dance, she wasn’t up for it, so he grabbed the other girl to dance, they danced away.

I met up with Jonny and Maz and the polish girl grabbed me and made me dance with her and Murphy, me and him kind of just played pass the parcel.

At one point she said:

Her: I know you like me
Me: I know you like me too
Her: I know

We danced, each time I went for a make out she backed off, trying to tease me, I got the vibe it wasn’t going no where and got bored.

Me: Murphy, nothing happening here
Murphy: Mind if I have a go?
Me: Be my guest man and best of luck lol
Murphy tries and to no avail…bleh…no real loss ;-)

We then bounced for something to eat, and ended up in Subway, where these girls were having a debate about Subway and Greggs, and one girl was very vocal about how she didn’t like Subway…Maz got the video lol.

We then ended up in this takeaway called Munchies or something, and while ordering food we got chatting to a few chicks, I sneakily did the eyelashes thing on one girl, and then got chatting to her mate, we chatted for a while. She gave me the whole run of interview questions, what job do you do, what car do you drive, how much do you earn lol. I didn’t make it easy for her…where would the fun be in that lol She was telling me how her boyfriend was pissed off for no reason, and she was going to have to apologise, I was like…why are you going to apologise when you don’t know what you have done…at least find out what you have done first lol

Her and her mate both pounced on my phone, they liked it. One of the girls had a Blackberry; my slide out keyboard owns that!

Grabbed her Facebook for future reference, she seems cool and a friendly person, I am always up for making new friends!

We then ended up in some other club, but by this time I was knackered and just mulling about. Everyone in Newcastle goes out ridiculously early, we went out at about 8:30pm and everywhere was heaving, while in Leeds it doesn’t get busy till at least 10/11, unless it’s a bank holiday weekend lol.

Me and Jonny went back to the hostel, where we bumped into Superstar, he had left at like 12pm, he was all over the place. He had a good night, which was key, he should remember that night for awhile. About 15 minutes later Maz turned up and said Murphy was still trying to get his freak on with a girl he was snogging on the dance floor….fair play.

I woke up when Murphy walked in we chatted for a bit and went to the loo, and then I went back to bed. I wake up in the morning and we realise Murphy has not slept in his bed….we were like WTF lol

Then Maz gets a txt from him, I will be back in 30 mins just at a girls house………hahaha nice. Murphy gets back and fills us in; the girl he had been snogging sent him a txt after he had talked to me when he got back saying:

Her: "I was going to invite you back to mine, but you were teasing to hard"
Murphy's reply was: what's your address?

She txts him the address and he jumps in a taxi and is gone, they have fun, and Murphy…randomly……BREAKS HER TOE lol

YES MURPHY YOU MADE THE BLOG. All in all I had a great time, got to do Newcastle again, great times to be had there. I saw a couple of Asian guys about, but they all looked like they were getting pissed and had no clue…well that makes my life easier then.

We then checked out and had a nice breakfast across the road and jumped in the car and drove back, the Renault 19 saves the day!
